LARS JUST LARS REALLY
they/them

Performer, director, musician, facilitator, visual and tattoo artist…a thinker.. a dreamer.. a skater.. a schemer… searching for the space(s) between a sob and a burst of laughter where raw connection thrives.

‘the highlight of the event’ The Wee Review on Porn Choir at Dive, 2017

Flirting with the boundaries of clowning, drag, polyphony, live sculpture and text my work is sensitive, ridiculous, boldly visual and politically motivated. I love to research, write and devise my own work in collaboration with others. Guided by the process my work takes different forms including installation, cabaret, street performance, sound art and practice-as-research approaches on my journey(s) in challenging representation, power dynamics and celebrating queerness and joyful resistance(s).
